CORVALLIS, Ore. -- An ESPN oversized Lee Corso Game Day mascot head reported stolen after the annual "Civil War" game between Oregon and Oregon State last weekend has been found.

The Oregon State Police said Monday an Oregon State University employee found the prop near his home in Harrisburg, nearly 30 miles from the Oregon State campus in Corvallis.

Troopers said the mascot head, valued at about $5,000, was last seen in a large container box near ESPN vehicles. Employees clearing the Game Day set noted the mascot head was missing.

Arrangements were being made to return the property to ESPN

Once he either retires or dies....ESPN can still put that on someone and dub over his voice and do the show forever.
