View Full Version : I am Freaking FREEEEZING

My central heat went out early this afternoon, so now I'm sitting here freezing my damned *** off. The repairman said he'd try to make it over here late tomorrow afternoon, but that it might be Wednesday. :gary:

This is torture. I'm probably the most cold-natured person on the freaking planet. I can freeze to death 90+ weather. When it gets below 70, I break out the parka.

I have my oven going and a couple of space heaters to make it slightly better, but man this freaking sucks.

Put your tampon in your arm pit for about five minutes before you insert it. It will help keep your core temp from dropping too much. :D

SicEm, I'm always cold as well, that's why FL is usually allsome for me, but we're freezing down here, too. At least my heat is working--down in the TEENS last night, only in the low 50's today, YIKES!!!!

As for you, break out the layers. When we lived in DC, we had one of the coldest winters in history, and our heat pump couldn't keep up. So we just wore a lot of clothes, it really helps. Start with a long sleeve tshirt or long johns, something tight, and then add on from there. I've been known to wear two sweatshirts at once, along with fingerless gloves and a knit hat. It really does help!!

Good luck, hope he can get it fixed soon.
