They have a good FG kicker. In the last game he made a 52, 50, 40, 20.

This seems to be the way they win there games, is with FGs.

so we're basically gonna load the box and make their QB beat us, which i don't see happening.

i can see them keeping our offense in check somewhat, maybe for a quarter, maybe for 2, maybe longer...but i don't see them scoring more than 2 TD's on us. no excuses this year. you can't ask for an "easier" BCS bowl opponent.

Worst Fiesta Bowl matchup since 1976. Should be a similar result with us playing the part of Oklahoma.

Their defense is the strength of their team. It is statistically better than ours in every category. They've beat teams that rank higher than us offensively too. We have to take them seriously. If we lose to these guys ... what a shameful embarrassment. :O :O

As a team they have thrown for only 10 TDs and have 7 INTs. Stop Todman, you stop their O.

UConn finished strong but the fact remains that they lost to Temple (and a couple of others. On a level maybe with K-State, Tech and Baylor. Besides OU - Neb, Missouri, A&M and local OSU would beat team by at least 10 points.

It should be noted that OU played the NINTH toughest sked and UCONN ranked #64.

They are a running team, not a passing team. Will need to keep this in mind when we scheme...
