Nice game plan. Loved the heat put on Martinez. I've been on your backside all year but I gotta say the gameplan seemed very well planned.

Kudos.

He definately was spot on for 99 percent of the game, but of course you can't hold missed tackles against him.

Best defensive game I've seen in years.

Just makes me wonder why we don't bring safety and corner blitzes more often.

Great game D!

I give it up to him too, but I would have been doing the same thing, it's easy to do all that with a QB as bad as theirs! We might have been in a little more trouble if they would've used that wildcat more.

Last week was KW's game plan of the year and tonight was BV's

Thanks to the defense for a nice win despite the worst red zone coordinator in America. Please leave and go to Indiana.

Great adjustment in the second half. Martinez will hurt tomorrow like never before

My only issue is that we have a stud fullback and he never sees the ball inside the 10. give that big boy the ball and see what he does.

Good scheme again; out of position on the play that resulted in the long TD, but otherwise we played pretty darned well on D.

No joke he could carry everyone for three yards easy!!!

Give it up to Venables and Wilson. We had over 450 yards of offense and only converted like 2 3rd downs or so.

Tonight just made me realize how bad Wort sucked at his position this year. Thank you Austin Box.

we coudn't sack OSU's qb to save our ***. great to see 60 yards in losses in this game. never would have imagined that.

Good point OUmartin, they forgot about him tonight.

Great job, BV. Was critical of the D in some earlier games. But your guys played great tonight.

Great defensive plan, well-executed with only a few missed tackles (mostly that slippery Burkhead).

Well-done team.

He buckled down after the first quarter and the Skers couldn't move. Nice plan vulnerables.

Way to go Brent

I need to give it up to Brent as well. I've been critical before but tonight the defense bent but did not break. Great job, Venables.

He got the ball on 4th & goal against A&M, and I think you remember the result.

The defense played a great game and dominated Nebraska after the first Qtr.

I concur. I have been critical of Venables......

but he and his team were on point tonight. Reminded me a lot of the 2007 Big 12 Championship game versus Mizzou.

bad, bad long run early that had me cussing like a champ. Other than that, awesome. The D is playing with confidence. Bring on Stanford.

When you do that against an experienced QB instead of a freshman with happy-feet you get burned.

Yep, those turnovers were not flukes or gimme's, they were Takeaways..

Because they knew nebbish couldn't throw the ball...a young qb that can't handle pressure...this was a no brainer....

Just because a certain defense works to perfection one week does not mean that same defense will have similar results against a better passing team...

They also started the year with an inferior defensive line...lost a key linebacker...and had a bunch of young players...

Get the lb back...move a d end to the middle...Lewis to d end...

The staff had a plan to strengthen the defense...slowly implemented the plan as the players learned their role...in the long run the plan worked...

Ronnell is looking better every game at d end.

Ronnell is looking better every game at d end.

It is where he needs to be....quick starts...don't have to think as much as lb...just light the fuse on the rocket strapped to his back and turn him loose...

Ronnell almost always takes away those WR screens. He has a great nose for the football.

I was really unhappy about that as well. I was screaming from section 126 to let that fullback dive!! But Wilson didn't hear me I guess.

But to Coach V...your boys were beyond ready to play!!
