Is it 6 different OU QB's to win a Big 12 championship?

Heupel, Hybl, White, Thompson, Bradford twice, Jones

Bomar is the only starter not to win one under stoops.

Ouch. But we were 2-4 on 4th down.

Wow, I hadn't thought of it like that.

I suspect Bomar would have won one if he had not been a dumb**** cheater.

He threw for 340 yards and had 2 touchdowns. The pick was deflected into the air.

Give the guy a break. He's turning into a great QB!

... not to mention. I'll bet Landry is the only QB to lead his team to victory for 17 point come back win too.

Some of you guys won't give this guy a break no matter how well he does.

Couple of months ago, I said that all Landry has to do to become a great QB is learn how to shake off a bad start, and look at more than one receiver at a time.

From the last two games, I think he might have a handle on how to shake off a bad game. I may have to watch the game again, but I didn't see him looking at more than one receiver each play... I hope next year he gets the checkdowns figured out.

I am starting to have a good feeling about him.

He was also the QB in 04 when we hammered Colorado.

He didn't. That's why he wasn't in the list. He got kicked off the team for cheating before he got his chance.

I would be happy if he didn't jack the ball past the receivers as often as he does. That being said, he is a fine QB.

When I read this post I immediately thought of one. There was a play where he was trying to go downfield but no one was open. The line did a great job of blocking and he eventually checked down to Murray for like 19 yards or something. He does that kind of thing quite a bit.

his 86 yard pass to Cam Kenney last week was at least the 2nd read, maybe the 3rd. He looked off to his left first, then came back around and found Cam open 20 yards downfield.

To begin the game it definitely looked like he had those away game jitters. He settled down surprisingly well and brought it home against that vaunted nu secondary.

Actually I think his pass to Stills where Stills was ruled down at the 1 yard line was likely his 3rd read on the play.

If he continues to grow and mature as he did this year, he could very well bring OU its 6th Heisman next year.
