The loser of this game will play against a more difficult bowl game opponent than the winner of this game:)

the Alamo opponent will be tougher than Stanford?

It doesn't look likely that the winner will play Stanford:-p

correct...the fiesta will get whatever crappy team comes out of the big east (if uconn wins tonight it will be uconn) no way the orange bowl takes them over stanford and let stanford go to the fiesta bowl.

yeah Stanford does not travel period, but I can't imagine Conn does either.

Unless Conn loses and WVU goes to the BCS, I think Orange takes Stanford.

I suspect UConn will wind up staying east and Stanford stays west. Just a feeling.

My understanding is that this year the Fiesta gets the last available pick.
We go to the Fiesta by default. Our opponent is picked. And it looks like everyone will be picked before then... so, we'll play Uconn.

And if we lose to them... I don't even want to think about it. :O

They won today 19-16 and didn't score a single offensive point.

I suspect UConn will wind up staying east and Stanford stays west. Just a feeling.

My thoughts also. UConn fans will be ecstatic to make a BCS game and will travel to Miami much easier than they would Phoenix. Stanford fans are neither abundant nor travel well so putting them closer to home will be the best scenario for both bowls.

Turns out both OU and Neb got opponents they should easily defeat. Both shoud be favored by 10 -14 points.
