I was looking at getting these too. But the "TEXAS" on top bugs me. If only it was on the bottom, where it belongs.

Yeah, but I think federal regulations require the state name to be on top. I just like the fact Texas is written in crimson and cream!

Sweet....if I had the bucks right now, I'd love one of those. Would be very pretty on my pewter-colored car.

BTW, what's the G stand for?

I just go the one where they generate the plate number, it is just the first letter of my plate, but I blocked the rest out. I don't want all the people I cut off on Beltway 8 to come back and find me! HAHA! You can personalize them, but they are much more expensive.

Where do you go to order these???

I live in Dallas myself. I just went to the Texas Department of Motor Vehicles website and was able to pull up all of their available specialty plates, and I found the colleges and universities section, but no OU????

Any direction would be greatly appreciated!

Go to www.myplates.com. They are all listed there. They have a bunch of pro and college teams. OU became available about 3 weeks ago. I already drove around town with them and people are staring at me! HAHA! I LOVE IT!

The alumni clubs of Houston and Dallas worked on them. The money raised from the plates go towards a scholarship for a Texas kid to go to OU.
