I'll forgo the obvious criticisms and let you guys have at it.

"While OU's Bob Stoops coaches in his eighth Big 12 championship game, Nebraska's Bo Pelini makes his second appearance. How much does the experience advantage favor OU?

"I'm sure it gives OU somewhat of an edge, but not as much as people would think," said Gundy, the Big 12 coach of the year. "We play in so many games now with media coverage and a lot of hype. You travel down and play the game like it's just another road game."

How could he possibly know anything about this?

I'm sure he's talking about the hyper surrounding their annual grudge match with Texas Tech.

ummm...ok Mikey

I can imagine Stoops' response if a reporter called him last year about nebbie & texass: "**** off dip****"

I'm sure he's talking about the hyper surrounding their annual grudge match with Louisiana-Monroe.

Talk about being on the outside looking in. Remember though he hasn't always coached at oSu. He has also coached at Baylor and Maryland. So he has had some big game experience there.

I don't think he said anything wrong. He's played both of us and has an opinion on our various strengths and weaknesses.

The laissez-faire attitude worked well for him last weekend.

Can we get this thoughts on something he's more qualified to speak about? Like maybe nuclear fission.

Pfft. I thought it was gonna have something to do with the use of Hair gel in a domed stadium...

Nothing here to see people. Move along.

Pat Jones wasn't available?

Pat would encourage us to schedule Hawaii at the end of the season every year because "we just ain't good enough to beat these people."

I would imagine Gundy would be a good person to comment on the matchup. He had a week to prepare for each team and post-game video to grade. I just don't think he would be motivated to say much.

he said really nothing...

funny, and the end of last weeks game when Stoops and Gundy shook hands, Bob looks Gundy or I should say tries to look Gundy in the eyes and Gundy's head is down. Maybe Gundy is a "man" but he did not shake hands like a man.
