Why would it be more if you bought more? I guess so you can sit together but what a ripoff.

They blew it here. In Texas an eighth-grader is not guaranteed to be a child, or even a minor.

BTW, everyone gets an award. (No, I'm not making this up.)

Remember discussing this banquet when Simms was QBing. What fun!

"Longhorn team, what you've just "accomplished" is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever seen. At no point in your rambling, incoherent season were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational play. Everyone in this room is now dumber for having witnessed it. I award you nothing, and may God have mercy on your soul."

those guys kill me sometimes

Isn't this like being named MVP on a team that goes 2-10? They probably could have done without him.

I love this! The quality of athletes they recruit are not fooled by this crap. They know they underperformed. They know they quit on their team, their coaches and themselves. This is merely one more humiliation to make them despise and scorn UT and their college playing experience.

May UT provide them with many, many more in the days, weeks and years to come.

They don't recruit "children", once they hit ninth grade they are fair game.....

IN! Can we get a banner and an RC airplane?

Attach a banner to something Air Hogs makes. Then, you not only get to twist the knife that's in Texas' back, you also have something to do besides sit at a table.

(I only assume what you guys are talking about, as LL remains on my ignore list)

Just wait, soon they will have their own TV channel and will be able to show what they want. Imagine, being 5-7 and never being outscored.

I hear they have hired the director of the cartoon network to produce all their games.

Isn't this the banquet where they expect all the junior recruits to commit to them? That could be funny.

zomg, this'd almost be worth the $30 to attend.

I would *love* to see what "accomplishments" they're gonna reward after the season they just had.

Just have everyone wear their Bevo lapels upside down. Then talk all night about who you think will get fired and which players need to play better to keep their starting jobs.

UT will need to do one of the Mack Brown finger pointing posters ala "We need you to help protect the UT stadium house" to get horn fans to attend the event.
