Reportedly, Texas is utterly outraged by the unfair rule that teams must have at least 6 wins to play in a bowl game. Sources say that they plan to fly a plane over the NCAA offices in hopes of getting this rule changed before the Insight Bowl makes their Big 12 selection. Mack has scheduled a press conference to plead for sympathy.

Players from bowl teams often refused to play to avoid risk of injury, but I remember a few Sooners playing in the game (and not during the Blake years).
