if we lose the conference title game, i'm hoping for us to get the at-large bid. it won't happen, but i'd still hope. just sayin...

They would actually lose a LOT of money on that, because the only way the Orange Bowl would take them is if they guaranteed ticket sales, probably at least 25k. So, when OSU fans act like OSU fans (because OSU fans can't sell out their dinky stadium) and don't buy tickets and don't travel and complain about cost and such, OSU will be out a few million... which Boone might bankroll, but only if he doesn't feel compelled to leave at halftime like he did at the Alamo Bowl a few years ago.

Steward Mandel of SI is reporting that we're likely off to the Insight.com Bowl. God I hate going to crappy bowls. Have one of our best ever seasons and we're in a crappier bowl than last year by two spots? Ugh..

I have no idea why Missouri is getting all this love and getting the bowl above us. Other than a win over OU, they suck.

#Edit: Now we're getting the Holiday according to sources. Shoot me in the head.

Well they go to the Holiday bowl and they act like they own the world, but when OU plays in nothing less than a BCS bowl and doesn't win that game then the base finds it unacceptable. That's because the standards are set high, and I couldn't ask for more as an OU fan.

Back in '05 or so the Pokes played one of those Miami Tech teams there. I told my golfing buddies (Pokes) that's where the Orange Bowl is played.;)

I can't stand the thought of being at the Insight Bowl with "daddy OU" being in town at the same time. !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

That is some Grade-A inferiority complex right there.

Why are they bitching about which bowl they go to in the first place? One double-digit season and they think anything other than the Cotton Bowl is beneath them. :rolleyes:
