We should totally do this. We could get nominees going now and then start polls in December to get the winners chosen. Would be a fun diversion from the normal political threads :D

where did you come up with that Sherri photo?

SS.com about a month ago. I posted it randomly in the blog thread just so that I wouldn't lose it. If you're curious about the Texas pics, the screenshot is off TexAgs, and the photos are off DMN, Austin-AS. The Gundy photo is off of Tulsa World (I think from the Troy game earlier this year where Weeden fumbled in victory formation at the end the game... d'oh!)

PS: Keep nominating stuff. If you can't find it, describe it. Also, how bout instead of troll of the year (there's only one), let's do post of the year. I nominate that OUI refugee's meltdown.

And of course, OU wins Big 12 title to be added at the end of the week :)

The only other topics that come to mind are "Pokes get uppity, but still lose" and "TMZ mentions OU basketball."

Thoughts? Am I missing anything huge Sooner-related?

Please keep in mind we really haven't done this before, so please, if you're going to suggest a bunch of new award categories, please submit a bunch of nominees to go with it. I know it seems like I spend a bunch of time here and I know every aspect of this site and every poster by heart, but I really don't :D

About the only categories I'm sure I can pull off at this point are thread, topic and resident opposing fan of the year. Photos I could probably cobble together with some work (but realize that there will be complaints WHY DIDN'T YOU INCLUDE MY AWESOME PHOTO YOU SUCK) and farks (with similar complaints to the photos thing), but the rest, I need help... or perhaps, would there be volunteers for some of the other categories to start the polls and such themselves? :)
