How the hell did Vince Young win a National Championship????????

Because after Mack Brown simplified the offense, all his playbook said was, "Send all the receivers to the left side of the field, count to three, pump fake, and run like hell to right." It worked over and over.

In all reality, that shows how simple (but effective) Leachs' offense was. Which is why he could take 2 and 3 star (under recruited) athletes with good speed, and hang 40-50 pts. on 70% of his opponents...

Exactly what I was thinking. Mack threw out the playbook because Vince couldn't remember it. I wonder if Vince threw his shoulder pads out along with it. :D

Ignoring a Greg Davis playbook can only be an improvement. :texan:

one play: 5 wide, Vince run for your life.

In his final year there wasn't an anti-VY on the defenses he faced.
