I think that Murray is a differance maker for sure, and would be key in Saturday's game....

Demarco is more of a question mark than Nelson.

Need DeMarco out there. The comment he made at the sidelines makes me worry... "Doesn't feel quite right."

I would think that if it was severe we would have already known with Murray. I would like to think they are keeping it under the radar to keep Nebraska guessing...

Yep agreed. I've said Demarco seemed slower than his early years but these last two games I have seen 110% effort from DM7 and he has looked every bit as good as his first two years. We really need him this weekend.

No one has said. Looked like a hyper extended knee on TV but that could be anything from a tweak to ligament tears.

The check they were doing in that brief clip was the one they always do for ACL injury. But any trainer would do that check as a matter of course to rule out that injury, so there's no telling.

We really need DM out there against the Bugeaters. Finch will fill in nicely, but DM just brings a whole 'nother dynamic to the table.

Need the MRI to be sure... "drawer test" is what you do at the sidelines. MRI is too look at everything in and around the knee. Good sign that Murray was walking around after the game and high-fiving his team in the locker room. Need him at full strength to push through the line and get that first down.... the biggest difference from last two years to this year is how his strength and conditioning has dramatically improved.

NORMAN — Oklahoma expects to get back its leading rusher for the Big 12 Championship.
The Cornhuskers may have to wait to see if they'll have one of theirs.

Sooner coach Bob Stoops said following Monday's practice he has a “positive outlook” that running back DeMarco Murray will be able to play Saturday, despite suffering a knee injury that sidelined him during most of the fourth quarter at Oklahoma State.
“DeMarco is much improved from (Sunday),” Stoops said. “We'll see as the week goes. I don't want to say something until it's for sure.
“But it's looking positive right now.”
Nebraska coach Bo Pelini, meanwhile, may not know until later in the week if Taylor Martinez will be healthy enough to also play. The dual-threat quarterback missed the entire Colorado game last week due to a turf toe injury on his left foot. Martinez has also been dealing with a sprained right ankle the last few weeks of the season.
“It's a day-to-day thing,” Pelini said.
Martinez took some snaps in Monday's practice, but was limited.
Sophomore Cody Green, primarily a pocket passer, started in Martinez's place against the Buffaloes and played well, completing 10 of 13 passes for 80 yards while totaling three touchdowns. Pelini hinted Monday that it's possible both could play against the Sooners.
“We'll play the guy that we feel is going to give us the best chance to win the game,” Pelini said. “It might be a combination of the two.”
Regardless, the Sooners say they're preparing for Martinez, who is still eighth in the Big 12 with 974 rushing yards despite missing two games, even if his mobility remains limited by the ankle and toe injuries.
“We're preparing for Martinez,” said OU linebacker Travis Lewis. “ They both can throw the ball, but you need to prepare against a running quarterback like Martinez.
“A running quarterback adds another weapon to an offense, so that's who we're preparing for.”

WHat knee did Demarco have the knee cap injury previously? I wonder if there was a re-injury given it looked like the knee cap hit the shoulder squarely.

Oklahoma running back DeMarco Murray practiced more Wednesday than he had earlier in the week, coach Bob Stoops said. But the Sooners haven't decided whether he will play in Saturday's Big 12 championship against Nebraska.
