I agree but at that point in the season one loss we're still in the title hunt.We were the highest ranked 1 loss team when we lost to A&M. If oregon loses to oregon state or auburn loses the sec title game we'd likely be in the title game. So maybe in that regard the 9 pt loss does look better than a 16 pt. loss

geez talk about a non-story. i hardly think us losing by one more TD or FG against Mizzou has any bearing whatsoever on our ranking this week. and even if it did, it wouldnt have pushed us down 5 spots to actually make a difference

completely agree. that florida state and air force kicked so much butt this year matters way more than another mizzou TD. ugh!

That's what I was about to say. OU would have had to be punished a spot in the BCS for each point that extra TD would have scored.

yeah that is a ridiculous argument. OSU would still be ranked behind us: FACT. A&M would still be ranked below OSU: FACT. This means we still would have won the South. So yeah non-story.
