LOL.

Murray was a warrior Saturday. All the poke fans will never admit it, but the truth was slapping them right in the face every time Murray pushed for yet another first down, while Hunter might as well have stayed home. The Pokes have to have their "We have something better than OU" security blanket, but nobody watching this game would come away thinking Kendall Hunter is anywhere near being a better back than DeMarco Murray.

Not a chance.

Hunter is excellent, but one-dimensional. You have to give it up to our D.

I would rather have Murray on the team, by a long shot. He is an excellent receiver and always seems to get the first down.

The lesson here is good defense can make a good player look less than average. But great players still shine even when the defense is set up to stop them.

Was surprised that OSU took Hunter out and put in Smith on running plays close to the end zone. An A-A gets replaced in that situation?

i thought Smith was more impressive than Hunter. Seemed to run harder, and seemed faster too.

Id take DM over all of em

I have no problem giving credit where it's due. Kendall Hunter is an excellent player. He wasn't at 100% of his healthy playing capability in the game. Frankly, if he had been, we would have had a tougher fight.

But we still would've beaten them. And damn right, DM beats him by a mile. So there, OsU. :cool:

Yeah, really thought Hunter would have done more against us. We did a great job on defense for most of the game Saturday, particularly against the run.
