I thought if I showed rookie yearcomparison's for some other well known QB's it would give some context as to how good Sam has been this year.I list the QBs by alphabetical order, rather than by how I think that rookie season ranks.I leave it to you, the fan to draw your own conclusions.
Troy Aikman 155-293 52.9% 1,749 yds 9TD/18 ints

Bradford 250c-413a 60.5 % 2466 yds 17TDs/9 ints rushing 20-49-0 TDs-0 f

John Elway 123-259 47.5 % 1663 yds 7 TDs/14 ints
rushing 28-146-1TD- 3 f

Eli Manning 95-197 48.2% 1,043 yds 6TDs/9 ints
rushing 6-35-1TD-1 f

Payton Manning 326-575 56.7% 3,739 yds 26TDs/28 ints rushing 15-62-0-0

Vince Young 184-357 51.5% 2,199yds 12TDs/13 ints
rushing 83-552 yds-7 TDs-5 f

Looks to me like Sam is having as good a rookie year as anyone on here.

BTW I will add any other OB for comparison to this list, these are just players I thought of.

Sam amazes me with his accuracy and laser-like throws. I can't imagine how good he would be with a upper-tier stable of WRs.

Sam is the only one on the list that has more TDs than INTs. Weird, huh?

Should've used Matt Ryan too because Sam's having better numbers and Ryan won ROY.

265-434 61.1% 3,440yards 7.9 16TDs 11ints Passer Rating 87.7 Rushing attempts55 yards 104 1td

Sam's a lock for ROY.

Sam amazes me with his accuracy and laser-like throws. I can't imagine how good he would be with a upper-tier stable of WRs.That thought has crossed my mind on many occassions.I can't help wondering what Sam's nimbers would be like throwing to Dez Bryant,Roy Williams,Miles Auston. Not that I think think Dallas' wrs are great but they beat what Sam has now.

I can't wait until nest year when Sam gets Clayton back ( at least I have heard St.Louis wants to re-sign him)and a tleast a couple of top shelf guys via draft, trade ,or free agency.

This is a true fact.

The helmet catch was an amazing moment that few QBs will ever top though. Hell of a play. But still...he sucks.

Seriously, WTF? TFRW couldn't catch a ****ing cold - then when he does, he fumbles it to lose the game. Mark Clayton takes better ****s than Dez Bryant.

I agree with Dean. Part of Sam's success has been that he hasn't had to deal with the meta-game as a rookie. Imagine if he had a guy like TO or Moss bitching at him to get the ball. He's not ready for that and this team is great for his development.

Now they just need to improve the OL so he can start taking more shots down field.

Mark Clayton takes better ****s than Dez Bryant.Hey I agree Dez and TFRW are are prima donnas BUT they are better than what Sam currently has(since Clayton got hurt).St Louis is something like second or third in drooped passes in the whole NFL.

My basic point was just imagine what Sam could do with a top flight recieving corp.I don't know who has the best group of WRs but imagine Sam throwing to an elite group.
