The coaches All American team came out this morning and in the receivers I expected Broyles and Blackmon. I looked and saw Alshon Jeffery as the 2nd receiver? Is this a joke

Broyles has tons more catches, more yards, and more touchdowns. This is complete bullcrap.

Also I see Quinton Carter as a DB thats what I like to see....even if he leads with his head too much.

I think it has more to do with Jeffery being the guy on that offense, whereas Broyles kind of gets lost in the mix between Landry, DeMarco and Broyles.

To Alshon's credit he did have those 2 sick performances against Auburn and Alabama in back to back weeks. I'm betting a lot of people have those games stuck in their mind. Broyle's biggest games were against Iowa State, Baylor, and Colorado.

Dont' worry, Broyles will get plenty of recognition in the coming weeks.

He's also never been named a Big 12 player of the week

He needs to return next year and compete for the Heisman.

Apparently, unless you are a running QB or a running back, you have to be a QB having a ludicrous season like Sam had in 08. Receivers seem to be SOL.

Happy to see that former Sooner Chase Beeler made it.

Also, OU D held the all American rb from OSU to about 50 yards.

That was meant in regards to the Heisman, but yeah, Ryan deserves the All-American honors.

Although Hunter's stats really are better than Murray....who'll go higher in the draft?

A team with a first-team AA running back and a first-tearm AA wide receiver? How could anyone ever beat them?

He'll have another sick game when they beat Auburn this weekend.

Murray will go higher because the scouts put so much in measurables but if Kendall goes to Green Bay, Washington, or San Diego, I can see him having a nice career. Kendall will probably be a 4th or 5th round draft pick with a lot of upside. In space the kid is almost impossible to tackle one on one. Yall just kept him from getting that space sadly

Kendall Hunter will go well before the 4th or 5th round.

I believe he has the talent but he's only like 5'8. NFL doesn't like that

I think with guys like MJD and CJ2k that they're a lot more open to that than they used to be.

No offense to Broyles, but it's almost 99.9% impossible for a WR to win the Heisman. If Fitz or Crabs never did with their stats then Broyles won't especially if he's not even the best WR in the nation

I believe after Danny Woodhead, NFL coaches might stop snubbing their noses' at size. The size of the fight in the dog still matters....
