"It seems fitting that Oklahoma and Nebraska would meet in this game. This has been a great rivalry for a long, long time and college football fans around the country will appreciate this game in particular. I want to congratulate Coach Pelini and Nebraska on their great season and for winning the Big 12 North.

"From our perspective, we're proud to be in the championship game for an eighth time. Our players begin each season with specific goals and winning the Big 12 Championship is near the top of that list. This team has shown resilience and a desire to keep getting better. As I've said before, they've been a joy to coach. All of us are focused now on putting a great finish on the season."

I loved that pic of him at the beginning of the game just sitting back casually flipping through a magazine. Totally relaxed, totally confident!

He's a true leader. He never throws his players or coaches under the bus like a certain snake oil salesman from Texas. He still can go Mike Stoops on people when *need* arises.

In retrospect, Mike Gundy looked really, really nervous before Saturday's game, especially during his Erin Andrews interview.

Bob probably hates it that Cale's bro is in the same division. I bet they get along well, and I heard Bob tells Gundy after the handshake, I'll see you later Mike, and patted him on the back.

Wasn't Cale at OU before Mike was coaching at OSU? Thus, it's Mike's fault for the bro vs. bro matchup, not Cale's :)
