I guess it's a little late now but I wish they would have instituted a rule declaring who can claim co-champs and who can't.

In my opinion, OSU and A&M can claim co-champs this year. While BCS ranking is relevant to pick who should be in the championship game, it shouldn't exclude others from proclaiming divisional championships.

On the other hand, you should not be allowed to claim co-champs if head-to-head determines a winner.

Just my opinion.

I don't like using the term Big 12 South Champion even if we win it outright. You either win the conference or you don't.

That being said, if you do declare a divisional champion, I don't like leaving it up to BCS ranking. I have no problem with other declaring themselves co-champs as long as we accept that there is a B12 South champion.

I do have a problem with Texas claiming to be south champion the year we had head-to-head over them (and not in a three way tie way).

this is the first time OSU has shared anything since 1976, when they won the Big 8 with us and Colorado
