In the biggest game of their careers we had 3 guys who have messed up big plays throughout the season or have been extremely inconsistent as a whole and they stepped up to have the games of their lives.

Stevens

Hanna

Kenney

Would you believe Stevens scored the most points! 4/4 FG and 5/5 EP.

Agree. These three have taken the brunt of fans' heat all season long and came through with flying colors last night.

Kudos, Boys!

Hanna missed one catch...But has been solid all year.....

I would throw in Landry Jones' fourth-quarter performance in there as well.

They have? I could have sworn nobody but Wilson has screwed the pooch this year. Who knew a couple of players might have actually ****ed up - and then redeemed themselves last night?

I agree with the Liz...

Looking at the highlights I didn't even realize how clutch Kenney and Hanna were throughout the game. They made a lot of key plays earlier and then the two home runs at the end.

I'll admit it Dean, I had been ciritcal of Wilson throughout the year, but I was very pleased with how he called the game last night. You win.

Which is true but the way ppl talked after he dropped the fake fg against A&M, you'd think he had brick hands.

Those kicks that Stevens made would have been good from at least 45 yards. I think he should get a shot at taking some long ones. It is obvious that he has gotten a lot more confident, and if he makes a few long ones, we may have oursleves a kicker! :)

Jimmy is now 14/17 this year and 25/30 the last two years...really really good

I officially promise to never say a negative word about Kenney again.

I have been a vocal proponent of Miller being in that spot (though I would still love to have a healthy DM out there.). Kenney's drops in the past have just been mid-boggling, but this game gives him a reprieve from any more criticism from me.

Hanna, He has made plays on an very inconcistent basis. It is surprising, not that he made a big play or two, but that he did it in the most clutch situation imaginable. Kudos to him.

Jimmy. Nails. We didn't ask him to kick anything too long, but he executed flawlessly on everything we asked him to do.

I want more consistency from our K and TE positions, but today, those guys are the toast of the town and deserve to lap up the praise.

But don't forget, we just beat the Pokes. We haven't won a darn thing yet. Next week is where it gets real.

Agreed. After his pick 6 which came after another INT, I was thinking he was gonna have another one of those road games. That TD kept the pokes in the game because our d was playing almost perfect. Huge props to Landry for not getting flustered. His performance was almost as gutsy as Bradford's in Stillwater two years ago. Who can ever forget this play?

I think that's what kills me the most about bashing him. He's not terrible....if you want to see terrible, watch how often RichRod actually sends the field goal unit onto the field. their two kickers this season are a combined 4/17. That is terrible right there. As to how fickle kicking is, consider that Brotzman is the all time leading scorer for Potato State...he missed two critical FG on Friday, and all of a sudden people act as if the guy was terrible.

Good post. Those three definitely deserve a high five.

Shows how good we could be with more consistency. We definitely have the horses, but when you're giving up KOs for TDs, something needs adjustment in the mental part of the game.

Look this guy on scout.com....he named 3 players that would shine in bedlam game, and he was spot on....I have no idea how he knew that Cameron Kenney would have a big game.
