Great game last night, Sooners!

So happy it is OU/NU next week for the Championship. Lots of respect here for the rivalry and for the Sooner program. :)

Here's just a little video to get everyone's blood pumping!

I have a ton of respect for Nebraska and I'm sad to see one of the greatest rivalries in CFB come to an end.

Here's to giving them one last game for the ages.

Happy to play Nebraska. Sorry that those *******s in Austin ran you off. I'm not saying you should have left, but I understand.

I look forward to kicking nebbish arse as they exit the conference. While OU/nebbish was one of the game's great rivalries, that died long ago. As far as respect, I have respected their ability to play football. I have not respected them as a fanbase, university, or human beings since witnessing the vandalism of so many OU cars on the nebbish campus and the lack of interest shown by their campus police, the Lincoln police, the University, or the fans who walked past mocking the misfortune of the Sooners for supporting a team other than the big red tradition of which you speak.

BEAT THE HELL OUTTA THE HUSKERS!!

Go over to a Husker forum if you don't like Sooner fans supporting our team. I'm with ST...

Let's kick some Husker *** right on out of the Big XII!

Yeah, I lost respect for Nebraska years ago when they started to suck and their self-proclaimed "classiest fans in the country" weren't so classy anymore, and then they decided to leave the conference. I hope we win by 50.

I regained my respect for Nebraska when they finished the conference realignment controversy that Texas started.

Texas didn't run anyone off. You think Neb would leave if they had won the Big XII championship last year? Nebraska couldn't beat Texas so they left. End.

Worked among them for too many years in KC area to believe any BS about "classiest fans" and that includes many of the older generation also. "Classy" only happened on Saturday when the world was watching. I've never gotten the love for Tom Osborne, especially his squeaky clean image that dismisses him covering for J. Rogers and all those other criminals on his teams.

Was it a great rivalry on the field? Yes
Did I ever respect their fans? No
Am I sad they are leaving the Big 12? Not sure yet

Texas was flirting with the Pac-10 and threatening to leave. Nebraska reacted to the instability started by Texas and finished it.

Texas started it.
Nebraska finished it.

You can say all you want about the fanbases. I've seen enough of the machinations locally of the UT administration to realize who the real scumbags are.

Hmm. More hostility than I expected.

Nevertheless, it's going to be a great game (I hope!). Love when these two teams collide for a league title. When is the last time that happened, anyway? (including the Big 8, obviously)

In all seriousness, I was just thinking off the top of my head, and I can't believe I had forgotten about 2006. I just didn't think before I typed - my apologies. Stupid Callahan, and silly me for forgetting. :O
