At 3:45, Demarco jumping backwards and resetting to avoid a tackle is just ridiculous.

I never get tired of seeing the all-whites racing into those ugly orange end zones. AD in 2004. AP in 2006. Gresham and Alexander in 2008. Kenney and Hanna in 2010. A tradition unlike any other :)

Thanks HolaKyle!! Great stuff.

Awesome highlight collection...

After watching it for the umpteenth time -- TD to Hanna was certainly up there with 'gutsiest move Herbie ever saw Mav.' But, James' best play may have been his recovery of Franks' fumble on the KO return after OSU made it close again.

3rd and 12 from our own 14..watcha gonna do Kev? An ~18yd deep slant that we barely snap in front of the play clock..and it goes for six. Sooner Magic rises again...

Also noticed the Agg' in the white hat, upper left quadrant of the vid at the 9:28 mark -- I don't think I could move my arms that fast. Couldn't read his lips ;)

awesome job as usual. please dont ever change and start adding graphics and music and crap. love the job you do. only change I would make is to add a replay or two from a different angle of the really big plays. other than that, perfect.

Demarco's two runs at 7:30 and 7:43 are pure clutch Demarco. Coming into OU, I never would have thought he would have turned into this kind of tough runner, but he had so many of those kinds of runs last night.

I wouldn't have minded seeing the kickoff return for a TD and the wild INT. Sure, they were great Poke plays, but they made the game exciting. I'm an adult; I can handle seeing a great play by the opposition once in awhile.

I wonder what he did when Hanna scored. I think that play has to be the play of the year. I thought it was going to be run play. I think the rest of the world thought is was going to be a run. And the Stache hit him in stride. I just about flipped out. Gotta watch it again.

Thanks HolaKyle.

Okay if you're an adult, you can also learn how to rip the DVR recording to your P.C.,
crop out everything but the highlights (including the Poke highlights) and upload it to youtube.

Right? now get to work, oh ye of adult age ;)

Jones' pass at 4:16 was incredible. The short first-down run by DM at the 7:35 mark was one of the most important plays of the game. He was stuffed, but just willed himself for a first down. May have made the difference.

Did Cameron Kenney look like he let up a little early on his TD run?

10:11 in the video is actually the play of the game.. watch the hammer send blackmon with a parting gift on the bottom of the screen

Leroy Lizard
11/30/2010, 05:15 AM
The most important stat of the game:

HolyOke's highlight vid: 11:30
OSUAthletic's highlight vid: 4:18.

So, let's see... 11:30 is pretty easy, that's 11.5 minutes. Okay, 4:18... there are 60 seconds in a minute... and let's see... 4:18 would be 4 minutes plus 18 seconds out of 60 seconds... that's the same as 6*3 divided by 6*10... the 6's cancel leaving me 3/10. I know what that is... it's 0.3. So 4:18 is 4.3 (rounded to to the second decimal).

Okay, the ratio of great Sooner plays to great OSU plays is

11.5/4.3

I'll use the calculator:

2.67.

So OU had 2.67 times more great plays than OSU.

I don't even have to look at the video to know who you're talking about. Double birds, right? Guy wearing glasses? I noticed it last night while watching Crunch Time on ESPNU. He definitely says "effin" somethin. If you watch him closely, you can see the meltdown coming. From frustrated to mad to boiling hot (this is when his lips get ready for the "f") to double bird explosion.

I've always found the double bird to be the most hilarious fan meltdown.

he probably said "effin gooners!"

Corby from the Ticket here in Dallas is a big OU fan and had a really funny/disturbing story about his trip to the game and an embarassingly foul-mouthed, redneck poke fan. he said the guy kept calling him an effing gooner and screaming obscenities in front of a couple kids. sounds like this guy

That's awesome.

I don't know how many times I've watched that Hanna play and I just can't help but laugh every time I watch it.

Go back and watch the plays again and notice how the crowd noise doesn't change too much on either of those plays (Hanna or Kenney). 20,000 Sooners can be just about as loud as 40,000 Cowboys.

Love the highlights. I have been watching the highlights from this past year as well as others. I noticed that on the first pick by the Sooners that blackmon was down on the ground as Carter picked it off. blackmon trips/leg whips him and brings him down. Why was there not a penalty on the play for that crap? I know they played in Stoolwater but this isn't homer reffing is it?
Sorry if this has already been brought up.

That was thoroughly enjoyable - and made all the more enjoyable because of the pain inflicted on the orange-heads (and probably a few media types in Oklahoma who were hoping for an Aggy win). ;)
