Ok, that's obviously not true. But he was outrunning DBs on that last catch. He was flying.

Only Chuck Norris would have been able to close on him.

Didn't Blobert Allen say that all OSU dbs run a 4.3 or faster?

OSU defense was gassed by the end of the game and couldn't catch Kenney.

Not covering Hanna was partly brilliance by Wilson for calling a pass play when everyone (including myself) was expecting a run play to kill some clock time. Instead, our OC called for the dagger to the heart and a TD by a wide-open tight end who did indeed looked like a 4.3 runner.

It depends. Is the finish line the end zone? If yeah then Bolt has no chance

James Hanna can make time move in reverse by running backwards around the world at full speed.

I just watched the replay, and watched the clock from the point he passed the 40 and hit the endzone. While I know he was already running, it went from :39 to :35, so he did hit that in 4 sec.

A lot of snark on this thread, but seriously Hanna was flying for a guy his size. That was one of the most impressive breakaways I've seen from a big TE in a long time.

And that play was the call of the year for KW. Absolutely awesome!

Yeah....if we was really that fast we would have only seen him leaving the line of scrimmage then magically appearing in the end zone with the ball like how it is done in the SEC :D

If I'm not mistaken, that was the same play used against * during the RRR for Hanna's TD, only ran to the left instead of the right. Shifting both Hanna and Ratterree, then motioning Hanna back the other way, fake a block, play action to RB (Madu?), and off Hanna goes into open space. He sure did turn on the jets to not get caught by every poke DB.

Hanna doesn't do pushups. He pushes the Earth away from him.

I am told that Hanna's personal stats; i.e.,weight, speed, shuttle, strength, etc. were all better coming out of HS than Gresham with the exception of his height.

I have no idea how well he blocks but he can be the same threat as JG if we scheme it right.

Never have I yelled for a big guy to run faster... well, cept maybe when Big Mo picked up that fumble a few years back. Remember Big Mo trying to outrun the opposing team's offense? rofl

Maybe your on to something when you say the poke defense were gassed.. I was shocked he ran away from them like he did I guess Hanna is pretty fast but I didn't know that..

Re-watching the game and still amazed by his speed. What's even more impressive is the fact that there are 5 Pokes running like crazy after him once they figured out Finch didn't have the ball and that there was a ball being thrown deep and over their heads... that doomed feeling coming over them and then turning around to go chase after Hanna.

OSU defensive coordinator is going to have a field day with that one.

Or more to the point... Boone is going to have a field day with the defensive coordinator.
