Post news here for all of us concerned fans.
We need #7 in the post-season.

Demarco was HUGE tonight. No spectacular runs or anything, but he consistently broke tackles, made positive gains out of nothing and generally just was a beast. it seems like every time he touched the ball, he got 2-3 yards more than he should have gotten.

Yeah he played great. It looked like his leg was bleeding through his sock, don't really know what that means but hopefully it's just a booboo

Heard on the sportsanimal that Demarco said his knee "just doesn't feel right" and it doesn't look too promising.

He was playing as a Beast! Any speed that he lost due to injuries has been replaced by power. He was a determined runner this evening. Without him, we lose tonight.

The replay from behind the play looked exactly like when he injured his kneecap on the kickoff return a couple of years ago....I think he bonked it again.

Doesn't sound promising. Probably MRI it tomorrow or Monday and see if there's ligament or tendon damage.

Damn... played his guts out and was a difference-maker. Will need him in the post-season. But in my mind... toughest test was tonight with OSU's high-powered offense and their home-field advantage.

Good finish.

What knee did Demarco dislocate his knee cap? It looked like he was holding his left knee. I've dislocated my kneecap before and I wear a protective sleeve during athletic activities to keep the cap in place because there's an increased chance of dislocating it again...hope that's not what happened with DM.

He made some critical first down runs. Some of them didn't look like they were there until he just powered through tackles to get the yards. What a warrior.

Stoops said in his post-game presser that he thought Demarco was fine. He said that Demarco was walking around the locker room and celebrating with his teammates. He did qualify the remarck with an "I'm not sure," but Coach Stoops thinks he will be fine.

I was surprised he was that open about it given his usual response to injury questions.

Better start teaching Finch to cut up field this week in practice. If he kept getting stuffed trying to get to the edge repeatedly against, OSU, it ain't gonna work against Nebbish.

If Stoops said its fine then it probably needs to be amputated.

Demarco was great tonight. What a tough runner. I thought it was his best game and he kept our offense going.

I hope he is not hurt. He deserves to finish the season on the field!!

I think the blood was from another play.

He took a helmet on the side of his left knee whilst his foot was planted. Might have just tweaked it.

God bless him!!!!

Just spoke with DeMarco, he said the knee was fine and to have the Hookers and Four Loco ready for his arrival by 1am.

They got that from Erin Andrews' report from the sidelines. She's the one that overheard him say that to the trainers.
I hope he's okay, but I have a bad feeling he jacked that left knee up bad enough he may be done for the year.

He was huge tonight--especially on third downs in the second half. The two third downs before his injury he converted by sheer force of will.

I hope he's okay.

I hope and pray that DeMarco gets his chance for post-season play. And not because I'm a Sooner fan, but because this kid deserves his chance and it breaks my heart that after everything he's given to OUr team throughout his career, he might not get the chance.

With or without him, we roll the huskers but I want him to be there because he's earned it!

Maybe the best all-round game I've seen him play.It reminded me of those times when AD would basically will himself into the end zone or across the first down line. Demarco just would. not. quit.

If you don't mind I would like to give it a thorough inspection up to about neck level and get back to you with my 'second opinion'. ;)

Erin Andrews' knee is fine.

I wasn't looking at her knee.

That said, we damn sure need DM next week and in the bowl.

But, if Bob says he looks OK, that probably means his leg is barely hanging on by some skin. :(

Thank you DM for being so important to our win against osu.
I am hoping for a speedy recovery.

You seem to always give your all in the games.

Yeah, I kept waiting for him to figure it out and let the Pokies fly right out of bounds. At some point later in the game, Kendall Hunter did exactly that, planting and cutting up while OU defenders whiffed by him. He got about 20 yards out of it. I think Finch could have done the same a couple of times.

Probably hard adjustment from being able to beat everyone to the corner in HS to D1. He'll get it.
