Reminds me of the time I was walking out of the Fiesta Bowl after the Boise debacle and overheard a Sooner fan say "The only thing the prevent defense does is prevent us from wining."
Seriously, that prevent defense damn near gives me a heart attack every time. Good QBs have picked it apart for years. It blows, IMO.

Prevent works better if you're ahead by two possessions and have an offense that's unstoppable.

Otherwise, get on the field and kick some butt until the final whistle blows.
