this MSU team is doing something that they haven't done in 20 years, win a share of the big 10 title.

and you say:

yeah, that was the percy snow squad that beat corso and anthony thompson.

I had a 1990 or 91 Pro-set football card of Anthony Thompson as the Maxwell winner and Percy Snow as the I think Lombardi.

I'm too busy being surprised that Keith Nichol is playing for MSU. I've been surprised by that pretty much the entire season. I'm obviously in deep trouble.

jkm, your memory is failing you in your old age. The Percy Snow championship team was the '87 Rose Bowl team. In 1990, they split the title (I think w/ three other teams).

I didn't hear the comment, so maybe they were. If they were being precise w/ their 20 year comment, then it wouldn't have been the Snow team, but they could have just meant "(around) twenty years."

...idiots keep referring to the upcoming OU-osu battle as the BIGGEST EVER

In '84 it was #2 v #3 both teams still with a shot at the national championship
that osu team was probably the best they've ever had

I get that feeling every time they mention a game from 20 years ago and act like it was ancient history. Worse is when they change the video to make it look like it's old deteriorated film footage.

Then again, in 1990 I would have thought 1970 was ancient history...

What makes me feel old is watching the dvd of our national championship game with Penn State. They are talking about Joe Pa retiring then. Another funny thing was Penn State using this new machine where they could draw plays up in the press box and send them down to the sideline.........Fax machine :(
