Someone needs to get their money back. Maybe with the sweeping changes in coaching staff... some money saved?

Will Muschamp be back? He's starting to be courted by other teams now, I thought. And I know that Mack Brown isn't leaving next year... can't leave his team after a year like this.

In my mind, he's in the Vennables area as far as worthiness as a HC.

Is Mack expected to step down or get fired?

Just curious here, thanks.

Mack looks like he aged 10 years in the last one.

Two things stand out from this year. First, Mack can't seem to do very well unless he's got a stud QB and overwhelming talent vis-a-vis his opponents. Second, it seems like there is a rift on the coaching staff. Mack has developed a "family" atmosphere but I think Muschamp is a bad fit with Mack.

I think they would be better off either getting Mack to retire or getting rid of Muschamp.

I actually think that Venables would make a better HC than DC.

I hope Brown and Muschump are both around for a long time.

And Mad Dog.
Great move by UT! This will save the AD $3750 per week in buffet and toilet paper costs alone.

Muschamp is already taking over, the new hires will be Muschamp hires. Mack will be "moved" to a "special position" in the Athletic Department after the next season or two.

I seriously doubt Mack would get fired, but I do see him stepping down after next year.

he is being groomed to take deloss dodds position as AD.

I think the people that are gone so far are the ones that Muschump doesn't like or doesn't want and is starting to build his staff and Mack is "lame ducK" head coach.... just a figure not much substance... (of course this is nothing new ....)
