With WVU on the verge to seal its victory over Pitt, UCONN controls its own destiny to win the Big East. They have two games left (Vs Cincy) and @USF.

Wait, you mean OU could potentially play UConn in the Fiesta? Wow. Talk about a 'nothing to gain, everything to lose' scenario that would be.

There is something to gain. The end of a 5 game BCS losing streak. Plus, UConn is horrible, so it's not like they'd win.

It's about time for us to "win" one of those.

Let's take care of business tomorrow night first, shall we?

Oh! Thanks for the reminder. It would have been a disaster if I overlooked OSU. :D

I think I'll leave that to the coaches and players. I don't think my mood will really matter in the outcome of the game.

I'm just saying if we don't win tomorrow night, it doesn't matter which average team makes it out of the Big East as the champion. Not to us, anyway.

well it matters. the point of this thread was mainly that the Big East champion auto bid is a joke

That is true. The ACC can get lumped in with them as well.

what if Okie State actually beast Neb and gets to play this patsy in the Fiesta.....

We'll never hear the end of it.

At least WVU was respectable and actually very talented in 2007

Yeah, West Virginia was a Pat White injury (or two) away from playing for it all in 2007, Rich Rodriguez or no Rich Rodriguez. They were a team possessed in the Fiesta Bowl because of what he did.

Pasty huh? Okie State would lose.
