Weeden's play, I expect him to lay an egg leading to a big OU victory...OU's defense will scheme to heavily pressure Weedin...he cannot handle it...

I think we may need to score more points than them to win.

The key is OUr secondary, Grandpa Walton is going to complete some passes.

I'll put it on Landry. Play like you did last week or when we are at home and we win, no matter what Brandon Wienke does. Make some bonehead passes that kill drives and give OSU momentum and we lose.

Agree. Expect OSU to score. We will have to match them score for score.

But usually those types of games end up a 14-10 duel. So, there goes that theory.

I think Coach Stoops and the crew should bring along a truckload of industrial strength Sooner Magic. I don't like saying it but I think they will need every bit of it.

Get ahead early and quiet the 30,000 oSu fans. Don't make stupid mistakes. Remember that the game isn't over at halftime. Throw the ball to receivers not named 'Broyles'.

Hopefully we don't use the "rush 4 and drop the rest into coverage and never blitz" plan that worked so well against Gabbert and Missouri.

1) Get an early lead
2) Laundry play unafraid (pukes D is sorry)
3) Healthy Austin Box (you have to be smart and disciplined in the middle against their offense)
4) Maintain poise. They will make some plays.

I hate to say it, but OSEwe looks, on offense, an awful lot like ours. Except they have a better running game to fall back on if Weeden isn't playing well. I do think our defense is better but I have to give them the nod on special teams.

IF we execute...and bearing in mind we aren't leaving the state of Oklahoma, where we are unbeaten since early Sept. 2005...we should win. It will be close...it may come down to the final play. I hope it's not that close.

Let's put it this way: I won't be surprised if we lose. I also won't be surprised if we win. I'd prefer the latter.

1. Stop the run.
2. Prevent the big over the top play.
3. Win the turnover battle.
4. Not commit stupid penalties.
5. Double padlocks on the sheep pen.

I don't think the old guy is going to tank it. It will be up to the OU defense to win it...

Everybody has made some good points to consider. Momentum will be a huge factor, Captain Obvious sez... I'd also like to add: Don't start like we did against aTm or Mizzou

The key to the game will be how conservative Stoops will be. When he was first hired he coached to win the game. For the last several years he has been coaching to not lose the game.

I think the last couple of games he has been coaching to win the game. I hope that trend continues on Saturday.

I say two things:
Pressure Weeden and stop the run...

No special teams miscues
Defense needs to set the tone for the offense.
