Heh. They cheated just as hard as anyone in the 80s and still didn't win anything. They also act like OU is the only school with bandwagon or fair-weather fans, when I've seen more OSU gear around Oklahoma City in the past month or 2 than I have ever seen. Orange was incredibly rare until The Hat pulled off the upset in Norman in 2001.

I would cheer for OSU on occasion (definitely not when they're playing OU...or Tulsa) if their fans weren't such moronic jackasses with some of the biggest inferiority complexes in the country (I think only Arkansas, Texas A&M, and maybe Clemson come close).

I find Whorn fans much more tolerable than Poke fans. The firm that I worked at in OKC (around 250 employees) before moving to Austin was about half OSU grads. My dad worked there for 34.5 years and I never understood his dislike of OSU until I went to work there in 88 and it was no better when I went back to work there in 94, in fact it was worse because of how bad OU was during the 90's. My dislike of OSU is greater than that of UT because of the fans.

This pissed me off because I know people and have heard of many more who talk about how much character Stoops has. With all of his visits to the Children's Hospital and his work with kids with special needs. He gets his players involved. And it does mean a lot to those kids just to get a hat or shirt handed to them from Bob. He has several charities that he has set up. It's not like the school came to him and said, Alright Bob you need to set up this charity and this one and donate your own money and take personal time to go visit sick kids. To say that Stoops has no character or class because of some stupid press conference just shows how blind to anything not orange some of these people are.
