When Blake had that monster 44 point,15 rebound game, that question occurred to me.I do not personally recall Tisdale,Adams ,Mookie or any other Sooner ever scoring more points in a single game.

Doesn't look like it....Wayman had a few 40 even games though. Adams was never really close. Mookie's game high was 39. However the highest game score for a Sooner before Blake's big night belonged to Harvey Grant with 41.

Should clarify that it is really only good from about 1985 going forward for game by game stats. Anything before that will just be on a season by season basis.

Indeed a very impressive total - also to add 15 boards on top! Screw Wall - BG for Rookie of the Year!

Sooner04 tells me Alvan Adams scored 47 points vs. the Buffalo Braves in 1977.AA also had 19 boards and 12 assists. in that game.

On February 22, 1977 Adams recorded a triple-double with 47 points, 18 rebounds and 12 assists against the Buffalo Braves. He is one of four players in NBA history (along with Elgin Baylor, Wilt Chamberlain and Vince Carter) to have as many as 46 points and 16 rebounds in a triple-double performance.

he'd be correct

While not sure of his high point in an NBA game, the first player I though of was Adams. Glad to see him get his due. Very good pro.

I thought Wayman dropped off a 56 pt night against popcorn st?

Stacey King, Tony Martin, have hit the 40pt mark I believe.

Oops already posted.

Tisdale had 40 3 times in his career.

Blaylock had 39 points in a game with Cleveland.

I'll find more.

Harvey Grant had 41 in a game against the Hornets in 1992 when he was with the Bullets. That's all I could find.
