ESPN reporting Childress is out. Frazier is named interim. Pretty much had to make the move. Similar situation as the Cowboys this year. Players had given up on the Head Coach.

good, 15 touches for AD is just a freaking embarrassment.

Truthfully Wilf should have beat Jerruh to the punch and fired Baldy Mc********* weeks ago. The Vikings might have had a better record now.

A commentator on ESPN mentioned that in all the meltdowns occurring on the Vikings sideline, one player stood out for remaining calm and above the fray: Adrian Peterson.

And which player probably deserved to be pissed more than anyone? Adrian Peterson.

Contrast that with Vince Young.

I am sure glad we Packers got one more win outta him - Internet high five, Dean!

Seriously though, Favre is next, and then I will have less problems with rooting for them when Green Bay doesn't play them. AD deserves soooo much better than this baffoon. For the Packer hater/Viking lovers, hate us less - we got rid of your idiot coach for you!

what if I hate both the Packers and the Vikings and only care for either team in regards to the fantasy points they bring me.

We are going to beat your Bears and we should have beaten your Bears at Soldier Field.

:D And i'm insanely jealous of your team using your fight song still - I think GB has one but doesn't sing it after touchdowns or anything

This. It's ridiculous. Back in the day AD would be getting a ton of reps.

Childress out coached himself all too often.

OK, that leaves about 28 teams left for me to guess

It's easier when it's just about the Sooners. Go AD! Rush all over every other team! :D

Nah, I want someone who knows how to embarrass their fanbase and run gameplans designed to lose. Yes, I want Bill Callahan in Minnesota. Make it happen, Vikings! :D

PS: This would actually be very good for AD, as Callahan would do things to run the clock (like RUN THE BALL) to keep scores less lopsided. I know this will likely backfire on me and AD will win games for them, but then, it's win-win - either you Vikings fans win, or I win because AD has a good pro career.

Callahan is already busy destroying the Jets running game.

High-five.

Personally, I hope the Queenie lovers hate us even more. I'm also reasonably certain they're going to find out that Childress wasn't the problem. It's the old guy wearing a purple #4 who should be a year or so away from going into the HOF in green and gold instead of whining like a bitch about his coach after getting his *** waxed ad nauseum this year. Anyhow, it does warm the cold, dark cockles of my wicked heart to see the problems they're having. My only regret is Peterson (and Loadholt and I think Cooper). That boy is a solid stud and deserves so much more than what the Queens can offer him.

VERY sporting of you.

I do pray that the fallout is good for AD. It was such a painful thing to watch a coach with no clue how to best use him.

Their gameplan HAS to involve AD more, or AD should leave (sorry in advance to viking fans). Forget money, forget wearing purple, go somewhere where they'll love and appreciate and USE YOU IN THEIR GAMEPLAN as much as Oklahoma did.
