We WIN WE'RE IN!!!!

OSU (10-2) will be ranked ahead of A&M (9-3) when we beat them, so there will be at LEAST one team between us and A&M. So we win the South with a win.

I'll be rooting for A&M...I mean against *. ***** Texas

an a&m win also means a quiet, relaxing holiday for *

if that's not a reason to pull for a&m, i got nuthin' for ya.

The prospect of the whorns finishing all alone DEAD LAST in the Big XII South makes me as giddy as a school girl. If it isn't enough to rid you of this silly notion then you must be insane.

A&M beats *. Whorns don't make a bowl game.

Sooners pummel little brother in his own room, OU goes to the championship game vs whatever north team can hobble down way (NU or Missery).

OU wins the final Big 12 championship game.

All is right in the world.

Technically Texas can still get into a bowl game at 5-7 if there is a shortage of bowl-eligible teams across the country.

That would actually be funnier than if they didn't get a bowl at all.

Excellent, chalk up yet another loss on their already craptastic, epic failure of a season.

I'm still scratching my head at the folks who cheered for * against SUC and Bama.

Cheering for * is like being a traitor against your own people.

then there are officially too many bowls

but again, them possibly losing 8 games wouldn't be so bad

not really.

****, even the NCAA agrees with me :D

even so, they couldn't have taken away the 3 AP titles in a row they would have won

granted, no one would be talking about it anymore though

My mind is reeling at this joyful prospect!!!

If * has any heart at all, it'll show against the corps aggies. As many times as they've gotten their season spoiled by them, it would be poetic justice for them to do the spoiling. It should be quite a game.

I'm always amuzed at people with this logic. First of all, who someone is rooting for has zero effect on the outcome of the game. I don't understand why someone feels the need to tell someone else who they need to cheer for in a game.

why do you cheer for OU? You obviously have no effect on the outcome of the game :P

Because I am a fan of OU. It makes me happy when they do well.

Do you have another reason?

Because I am a fan of OU.

By definition that makes you a * HATER, so unless a * win directly impacts (positively) our chances to move up the rankings or any other positive reason YOU HAVE to root for them to lose.

Well crap. I am a terrible Sooner fan. I won't cheer for * even if it will help us. I figure if we can't do it without their help, then maybe we just aren't good enough.

I disagree. That's strained at its very best.

Texas is irrelevant to OU at this point this year. So I can watch the game disinterested because the outcome doesn't affect OU.

Or are you another of those that wants to define for us what a "real" OU fan is?

I disagree. I don't hate Texas. I dislike them, but I don't hate them. I hate OSU way more, mainly because I actually know people who root for them. I don't know any Texas fans.

Texas fans are arrogant and obnoxious, but I can respect Texas because they've have actual accomplishments.

OSU fans are arrogant and obnoxious with no real reason (except 34 wrestling titles, baby!)

Wait is this the University of Oklahoma, or the University of "We Hate Texas"? Some of the obsessive hatred and "rules for rooting for teams" reminds me of another fan base that I see on a daily basis up here.

I sure hope to enjoy the longhornes season next year again.

But OU on top of the Big 12 south and texas on the bottom. that would be my new screen saver for a while.

Lets beat osu. We have better players. Yes it is a road game but in the same state and not that far away.

I always put up the Christmas tree during their game. I want to know how it turns out, just not enough to actually watch.

I would think its common sense to never root for your main rival. Bob Stoops seems to think so. I don't want to ruin the sentimental feelings of those among us who feel cozy about * and rooted for them against USC.

I have, on occasion rooted for the whorns against teams that I hate just a tad more such as USC, Miami, Notre Dame, Ohio St. etc. I really think the Aggies will pound them. They would have lost again last sat. had they been playing anyone other than Fla. Atl.

If you don't absolutely hate everything about *.....then you ain't "a fan of OU".
