poke fans here in stillwater are already scared to death of this game. they know their fate already, i could see it in their eyes when i went to breakfast this morning, i walked into a sea of orange and they all just parted and looked in amazement at my crimson hoodie and hat.

I know you don't know this, but it had absolutely nothing to do with OSU.

Right.

Gameday follows OU around every year to remote outposts.

That's why they were in Waco yesterday.

And how many times has Gameday been to Stillwater when OU wasn't involved?

OSU has about 1/10th the viewing audience.

Since 2000, OU has been broadcast on at least regional TV 140 times.

OSU has been broadcast on TV about 60 times in that same period. About 50 of those 60 were on TV because of OSU's opponent.

You're nothing.

I thought I heard them say this morning they would be at Nebraska for the final conference game between Nebraska and Colorado. I must have mis-heard

Maybe what I heard was ESPN2 say they'd be there to call that game.

We must have asked too many difficult questions for our little agroid bretheren, &/or they took the time to look up the answers (since they obviously wouldn't know the answers on their own) and were once again, slapped in the face with reality. I like 'em better when they're quiet, don't you? :D

Why doesn't Gameday ever show up for OU-osu in Norman? Is it because they can't keep it within 4 touchdowns?

btw, if any of you are making signs, I lurked at OP long enough to hear that they confiscate ones with business/brand names that are not gameday sponsors (like Burlington Coat Factory, derp derp stupid pokes) or insult gameday sponsors (no "Built by sucky Home Depot" signs allowed I guess) and ones that are just bad.

I like them better when they aren't here at all. I refuse to speak to any of them on an OU board, but you guys are hammering them pretty good. Carry on..

They keep showing up in Stoolwater just hoping that one time OSU will beat OU. Unfortunately for them, it ain't gonna happen this year! We'll see ESPN again there next year with the same pipe dream. Poor Pokes. :D

Is there anywhere to find official rules? I have a sign idea but I don't want to make one and get it tossed like the last time I went!
Just fyi my sign is going to be an orange and black beer box saying OKIE LIGHT pounding em since 1904!:D

How did these make the cut?

My guess is they don't check signs before they arrive, but rather, are getting told about signs once they get held up on their live broadcast.

Your best bet (and I've done this at games before, hehe) is to take a market and blank signage to avoid sign enforcement people.

I am also guessing that the crowd - being very crowded and all - can hide offensive signs easily once sign patrol comes around to collect bad signs.

Just don't offend the other guys - do "Lofton's a man, he's #40" and stuff like that. That's clever... well, unless everyone says that :D

The last time they showed up, they had Mack on begging for BCS votes and after a late Poke touchdown had an announcer be all like "How many voters just changed their votes?!"

I'm not all angsty about it or anything, but ESPN has it's own agenda... and their agenda this week is "New era of Big 12," so that means little sister has to win in order for there to be a new headline the next day, because OU's won so many Big 12 (and Big 12 South specifically) crowns that the story's getting stale
