Got to watch my son's basketball scrimmage last night; they went to Mounds and played about 8 quarters total; we have 18 kids on the team, so playing time may be hard to come by again this year. I tried to talk my son out of playing this season to concentrate on baseball, but after last night i'm glad he didn't listen; he looked like a totally different kid last night and i'm totally shocked at how much he has improved just since last year(he's a Junior this year) but there's no telling how much, if any, he will get to play this year in varsity ball; however,i'm so proud of him for sticking it out and working his *** off this fall to improve :D He has gotten bigger, stronger, and so much faster it's unbelievable but i just hope the coach will give him the chance this year to help the team.
