Coach Gundy commented that it was hard for 300 pound players to ride a bus from Stillwater to Lawrence to play a football game. T-Bone and a couple alumni golfers picked up the tab to allow the team to fly a charter jet from OSU to the game. The jet had mechanical difficulties and never got off the ground.
The players had to wait 4 hours for a replacement plane.

I heard they hired Sean Sutton to drive the bus but the blow and go they installed kept registering alcohol on his breath. So then they had to get a plane

They should check out renting charter buses instead of school buses.

i can see where it would be hard for those 300lb 'ers. i wouldnt want to ride on the short bus either....
