I just finished watching my first OU mens bball game of the year. After a rather rough first half, they pulled away for an easy victory. I came away with a few observations:
1. the effort level is night and day from last year
2. it is apparent that these guys like each other, know how to play team bball
3. we will win some games we aren't supposed to, and lose some we should
4. we push the ball alot more, play fast - out of control some too
5. fan support was terrible
I was impressed with what I saw, especially after the disaster that was last year. We won't be in March Madness, but I see an NIT invite in our future for this year. At the end of the game, I started looking for ticket packages for later games this year.
A hearty good job to the boys, coaches, and fans that were there...
