Since the beginning of October 23, 2010 till today. Mack Brown has lost more home games than Bob Stoops has in his career.

That guy doesn't even know the rules for the Rose Bowl selection this year. It's quite amazing how uninformed some media types are. They get **** wrong all of the time.

Why do all articles of the Sooners road woes state the road record since 2005?

What is Coach Stoops road record since he took over the program?

What is the OU road record since World War II?

What is our road record from the beginning of OU football?

How do each of these individual road records compare to the average team in college football; where do the Sooners rank in each of these?

First I've heard of any of this. Did we lose a road game or something? So do they count more than a home loss?

Yeah you're right. I forgot that USF still had a chance.

Dude is still wrong on the Rose Bowl though. If Oregon makes it to the BCS CG, they would not be allowed to select Stanford. LOL. Someones probably getting screwed big time this year. I hope it's BSU. ha ha ha ha.

Me too but on the other hand if we got another chance to play BSU I'm all for it.

I only care about how many losses we have this year. The historical stuff is just sensationalizing.

We should probably just start forfeiting the away games and spare ourselves the pain.

Since the beginning of 2005, we have had a new starting quarterback at the beginning of every season except two.

05- that guy
06- ENA
07- Bradford
08- Bradford again
09- Landry
10- Landry again

EDIT: boo your crappy long thread title. If the system tells you it's too long or stops you from writing more, THEN MAKE IT A LOT SHORTER, NOT JUST A FEW CHARACTERS SHORTER! GAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!

The good thing about playing them this year is that it wouldn't come down to some trick play at the end of the game...

Should we lose in Stillwater, the upside is that we might get to see Boise St. destroy the Pokes in the Fiesta.

If some of you think you have uncomfortable office experiences now, just imagine if OSU beats Boise St in a bowl game.

I like how morons in the media say "since 2005... games AWAYfrom Norman." Ergo they are counting the Cotton Bowl and the Bowl Games. Well any person with half a brain will tell you that the Cotton Bowl is not a road game but yet a neutral site where the crowd is 50/50. The bowl games where more often than not the team is playing another team that is equal to or better than them. To say since 2005 is stupid too. 2005 OU was 8-4 and were rebuilding and got hosed at Tech. 2006 OU lost their starting QB before the season and were still extremely young and once again got hosed at Oregon. 2007, ok yeah they struggled a bit. 2008 won every road game and lost in the Cotton Bowl and the championship game. Last year they had more guys in the trainers room than on the sidelines. All this crap about OU struggles on the road stems from two things. One they are so freaking good at home that everyone expects them to be that good away from Norman. When you win all your home games you have to lose somewhere. I know we want them to go undefeated every year but that's just not possible. 2000 was the first undefeated season since 1975. That's 25 years! Second thing is that it is all because of the bowl games. If OU would just win their bowl games then this argument would not even be brought up!

Even though he played most of the games, Landry was not the starting quarterback at the beginning of the 09 season.
Still amazing that Sam was the only multiple year starter in the last 6 years. We can pin the blame for all of it on "that guy".

Only OU loses on the road. No one else.

After OU lost at Missouri, what did the Tigers do? Lost two straight . . . on the road.

A&M has lost three times, two of them away from College Station.

Only this year's elites have not lost at all, period.

Alabama's two losses were on the road. Ohio State's only loss was on the road. Michigan State's only loss was on the road. LSU's only loss was on the road. This is not a new phenomenon, yet some members of the media think it is.

Then you have Nebraska and OSU, who have better records than us, yet both of theose teams only loss was AT HOME.

Hey, at least we can protect our home field. If OU's two losses this year were at home, the media would be hounding Stoops about why he can't win at Owen Field after years of dominating.

Stoops can't win, unless he wins . . . all of them.
