All of our touchdowns this year have come on offense. No punt returns by Broyles, no kickoff returns by Murray, no int returns....

Is that normal??

I, for one, am very happy that our defense has no STD's.

We're not good at getting turnovers this year period.

We're saving them all of Taylor Weeden.

OK, answering my own question a little:

2010 - 0
2009 - 4
2008 - 3
2007 - 7
2006 - 5
2005 - 3
2004 - 3
2003 - 8

So, instead of "normal", is it cause for concern??

2003 was kinda nuts. we had 4 in one game though

our defense and special teams could have won the UCLA game 28-24

His first name is Brandon, why have I seen Taylor a lot lately?

A joke I think but yea we're due for defensive or special team TDs. Take if from me I know. I called us getting at least two ints on Tannehill in the A&M game. I'd say within the next two games we either run a kick/punt back or run one in from a fumble/int. I feel like Rus.

I wouldn't say cause for concern, but disappointing yes. We still have a chance to get some. I'm just suprised that we have zero. If you would have asked me at the begining of the season I would say we would have 5 or so by now.

Could a reason for this be our lack of pressure on the QB in big games? It is usually when a QB feels panicked that he throws the stupid balls, perhaps this is he reason we have none.

We are getting attempts (punt/kick returns, fumbles/interceptions for):

2010 - 72 -10 games - 0 TDs, (+10 TO Margin)
2009 - 106 - 13 games - 4 TDs - 1 TD for 26.5 ATT
2008 - 118 - 14 games - 3 TDs - 1 TD for 39.33 ATT (+23 TO Margin)
2007 - 129 - 14 games - 7 TDs - 1 TD for 18.42 ATT
2006 - 107 - 14 games - 5 TDs - 1 TD for 21.4 ATT
2005 - 92 - 13 games - 3 TDs - 1 TD for 30.67 ATT
2004 - 85 - 13 games - 3 TDs - 1 TD for 28.33 ATT
2003 - 120 - 14 games - 8 TDs - 1 TD for 15 ATT (+17 TO Margin)

Overall Average (Prior to 2010) - 8 ATT/game, 1 TD for 22.9 ATT, 1 TD for 2.9 games

Of course, a couple in the next 3/4 games could change this in a hurry..

I thought Broyles had one punt return this year? Did he not?

NormanPride

He's had a couple that have almost gone the distance, but none that actually have.

We could really use a couple in the next two games. The guys are getting picks, which can be infectious...
