3 points in 3 quarters. I was justifiably drinking.

Next week, they might throw you INTO the stadium. Just watch out.

Dammit! You beat me by 6 minutes.

Oh well, let's make this thread the Offishul Karma Thread.

Another fave:

They really don't recruit that well. A lot of the guys they get are wildly overrated and don't pan out.

Yeah, we just don't have the playmakers on our team like Texas.

man those threads are fun

I'm not sure you had the great fortune to read their "Sam Bradford might just suck" thread. Let me put it this way: It made the Shaggy thread look like a column from the Wall Street Journal. It was so pathetic that they even erased it from their archives.

One post sticks out in my memory. One Texas fan said that he would never discount Stoops' ability to coach QBs if he could put a polish on that turd (Bradford).

Thanks cast.... That was a great read. It's crazy how the page turns.

They said the same on hornfans last year.

It's kind of ridiculous to think this about OU or Texas completely tanking.

They also seemed to have short memories of the cyclical nature of the ou/ut series.

If GG gets his act together they could have a real good year next year. This isn't the end of UT football; that's for damned sure. I consider it more of a fluke.

Mack looks like he is one more loss away from having a full blown heart attack on the sidelines. He has aged so much during this year.... and it shows.

BTW, the posters on Shaggy are not in the mood for anyone trying to cheer them up.

Speaking of QBs, it's amazing that UT's QB only has 7 TDs all year. 7! (Landry scored 5 just today for 27 overall.)

Two of those 7 came in garbage time losses against KSU and UCLA.

yeah even last year, although LJ had all those INTS he still had a lot of TDs

LJ's numbers last year were arguably better than Heupel's numbers in 2000. 6 more TDs, same INTs, a few fewer yards

It's hard to believe that they were in the top 25 this year....:D

Also Rocko20 still evidently not getting the facts straight....It's beginning to look like they have a lot more "Competition than they realized....

We're in the Big12, I wouldn't exactly call it luck.

OU is our biggest competition every year. Just sayin'

Victory88: WTF are you talking about? Lucky? We paid for our ****ing success. 2 ****ing conference championships and a ****ing losing record to ou doesn't cut it in Mack's 13 years. I could have won a ****ing national championship if I had Vince on the team.

Wow I am glad we don't have fans who think like this!

Wow I am glad we don't have fans who think like this!

I've heard guys here say stuff about us having enough talent that we should be undefeated every year. So I don't think we're immune unfortunately.

I don't think anyone here thinks they can be a head coach though. Maybe I am wrong?

Ironically going to all those BCS bowls and playing good teams has hurt their image.

Stoops won't put up with **** for long and will make the necessary adjustments, whereas Mack will just wash, rinse and repeat.

Maybe they'll stay down next year, maybe not. I'm enjoying it like hell right now though.

I will say this. Nobody on the staff or the team for that matter stands a chance against me in NCAA football for XBOX 360! I will dominate!

This has been an awesome year to live in Austin. Listening to sports talk is much more fun (especially, as always, Jeff Ward, for those of you who also live down here).

Have you seen any whorn apparrel with "FIRE SALE" type signs on the piles of stuff they surely bought to prepare for their BCS Bowl Trip they were headed towards in September? :D

You would need to go into the agricultural fields near the Mexican border to see those shirts.
