I bought my wife two new coach purses for Christmas but was thinking about giving her a coupon for a facial too.

I've heard they are good for the skin but would like some input from those that have had them.

Do it. Also, while your at it take back the coach purses and trade them for a Marc Jacobs or Louis Vuitton. Your wife will thank me.

Louis Vuitton? Are those the butt-ugly ones that look like they're covered in granny wallpaper?

OK, my mind is nowhere near the gutter, martin, so I'll answer with naivete firmly in check, trusting a fellow Sooner to be asking a legit question and not use my words against me.

I have, from time to time, received spa certificates for Christmas or my birthday, and they are one of my favorite presents. A day at the spa is such a luxury for a wife/mom who spends so much time taking care of everyone else. It's a wonderful gift to be pampered like that. So yes, I've used mine for everything from massages to mani/pedis to mud masks, etc. I always leave feeling pretty and refreshed, and I've never had bad results from anything they've done to my skin, usually quite the opposite. I'm sure she'd love your thoughtfulness for a gift like that.

That depends on what the definition of the word "facial" is.
