It's here! Let's do this! ;)

For 10 weeks, Mark Haub, a professor of human nutrition at Kansas State University, ate one of these sugary cakelets every three hours, instead of meals. To add variety in his steady stream of Hostess and Little Debbie snacks, Haub munched on Doritos chips, sugary cereals and Oreos, too.

Good gimmick to prove something very basic: less calories in than calories burned = weight loss. Basic physics. No matter what you eat.

The women's magazines at the checkout line at the supermarket will now tout the twinkie and bacon diet (with the obligatory photo of Jennifer Anniston and an update on her love life).

So how many calories are burned in one post?It depends. Are you using "post quick reply" or "go advanced"?

If I could convince myself that it would work, I might actually try it, lol

Oh it worked for the guy, I saw it this morning on the Today show. He has lost weight.

Now his arteries are probably just one big vat of creme filling, but he's thinner!

Nothing will make you stop craving a Twinkie like a treadmill. See how much time and effort you need to put in to burn those 160 calories and you will want to gain those calories back in a different way... like a beer:)

I've thought of replacing breakfast and lunch with a few smaller and pre-packaged meals. I mean, we already eat LeanCuisine crap and a protein bar has 10x less sodium and more taste. This gives me a good reason to try it out for a bit. I like the fact that he supplemented a nutrient-deficient diet with foods that are high in nutrients and low in calories. Smart guy.
