Sounds more like wishful thinking on behalf of the columnist.

A better preview would be the absolute wipe-out that the conservatives administered on the RINOs and Liberals at all levels of Government in this last election, not just the federal level. the GOP better pay attention to that.

I only needed to read four. They're all the same. You are a PR shill for some far out conservative agenda. Only, I suspect, you are not getting the pay for it. Most PR shills that troll message boards tend to be a lot less obvious.

I think the reason Alaska has so many government paid programs is due to all their oil money. Right?

Two different things. The Alaska State Government runs itself off of oil royalties. There's also a lot of Federal spending in Alaska that isn't funded by oil money.

Alaska is darker in winter, colder all year and less densely populated than any other state. Alaskans are unique, too: They enjoy a higher level of per capita federal spending than anyone else in the union, as well as a state constitution that they think allows them to defy the Supreme Court.
Pfft. Oklahoma's does too.

That bolded part made me double-take as well. In 35 years, I don't think I'd heard anyone espouse that particular argument, at least not in so many words.
