Looks like JJ has had enough of Wade Phillips who wasn't seen this morning at their facility.

Cowher is favored by Vegas :pop:

if all that lockout talk is true, they should probably do something sooner than later if they are going to

Because of the Rooney Rule, you can't hire a coach this late in the season from the outside.

And where did you see the PC talk? I haven't seen anything yet.

Jerry will coach the team for the rest of the season. He might as well, maybe he'll get it out of his system and we can get a real coach.

They need to start at the top . . . . . with a non-meddling owner! ;)

You realize that every Monday the Cowboys have a press conference at 3pm?

I'm afraid this is not news.

This would be great if it happens. And I could actually see it happening. The only other owner I could see coaching a pro team would be Mark Cuban for the Mav's.

Can Blake get it? He was an NFL Coach at one time. Would he be considered an outsider? I think he'd be great for the Cowboys. His Recruiting of the triplets at Dallas secured a lot of Super Bowl wins.

Bill Cowher

Bill Cowher

Can't happen. At least not in the interim. Rooney Rule.

It's Jason Garrett.

he could bring his Twister mat, and he could actually legally have his players talk to agents ;)

they better make constant files on his recruiting though

"It is finished."

4:00 press conference today.

I gotta give props to ex-poke Dez Bryant. If I was playing, I'd sure want him on my team. Was he a junior last year? Imagine what the pokes would look like this year if he was still playing with them.

My apologies...this was a "special" press conference today.

Feel sorry for old Wadester.

You're just trying to get them to cry again, aren't you? ;)

If not, yes, he was a junior last year, but hardly played at all. I think it still crushes most Pokes today to think of what could have been, had he been allowed to play his junior year.

Also to his credit, he seems to love his alma mater... not in a stupid tool-like way like TFRW and whorn mind you, but enough to say "Oklahoma State" during TV player intros and not his high school like I've seen some guys from Texas A&M resort to :D
