After this last game I went and looked at the Big12 statistics and saw that we were last in Red Zone defense and only ahead of KU and CU in Offense. I couldn't believe that we hadn't stopped anyone inside the Red Zone in Big12 play.

Figures can be manipulated to say anything....

Using them fiqures for OUr D, how many TD's have been allowed in the Red Zone....

1. Oklahoma = 4

Next best = Missouri = 6

Worst = Kansas = 19

Yes, not stopped anyone in 10 attempts, but only 4 have gone for a TD... thats 40% which is stastically better than anyone in that list (bar missouri which is tied 6 TD allowed in 15 attempts)

So depends how you look at it, easy to make them say what you want, as proven!

Good point, look at Baylor and Tech. Folks seem to spend alot of time in their red zone.

Scares me to see that teams score 100% of the time in the redzone....

call it sunshine-pumping, but we have also allowed the fewest red zone opportunities (10). the next closest is Nebraska, who has given up scores in 15 of 16 opportunities. Mizzou is the only team that has given up fewer red-zone scores than we have.

This stat basically says that we suck at getting turnovers in the redzone or that opposing kickers rarely miss FGs against us.
