I wouldnt go to that extreme but I do blame the coaches for contributing to the majority of the problem hence the consistency of our road game performances over the years.

I have a feeling we are about to go on a stretch of 8 or 9-win seasons, just good enough to not get Stoops or any of the coaches fired, and just bad enough to keep us all disappointed every year, wanting more. Since we have now completely lost any leadership or mental toughness on the road, in the fourth quarter, when the going gets tough, etc., etc., we can now expect at least 3 or 4 losses away from home every year. I'm just not seeing things changing any time soon. We may be able to pull off a year like '08 every now and then, but even that year when we played a good team away from Owen Field, we were 0-2 (1-2 if you considered OSU "good" that year).

I mean, I can take a loss. But I certainly hope our players have more perspective than our fans. (But, this was the same fan base that wanted Switzer fired in 1982, so what did I really expect?)
