You have friends who are fans of other teams looking across your living room at you, and others calling your cell phone, all saying "man, your offensive coordinator is a f%š$ing imbecile." And you can't disagree.

He is an absolute and complete imbecile. Unbelievably atrocious, amateurish, predictable play-calling. I have never seen an OU team blow so many red zone opportunities. Absolutely disgusting. It is time for Stoops to make some changes.

But but but he runs the no huddle! He's an innovator. :rolleyes

He's too damn smart for his own good, imo. On another note, we need a mobile qb and this offense might be sick.

I have an idea: Why don't we let Bob Stoops make that decision. He knows our team better than any of us. He knows more about coaching than any of us. If KW was truly the problem with the team, Stoops would replace him.

My gut feeling is that running an offense is much more complex than we think and that Stoops has a lot of respect for KW.

I could be wrong and Stoops may just fire him after all. But I don't I am and I don't think he will.

But he won the Frank Broyles award a few years ago!

See a pattern Liztard? Realizing that your run game is getting stuffed like a Christmas turkey on the goal line isn't "complex." Tennessee fans joke that Johnny Majors was determined to establish the inside running game, even if it took 59 minutes to do it.

When the drooling slackjaw down at the 7-11 knows Wilson is GOING to run the ball down there, how hard is it to stop? Schidt, he never even ran the ball outside the tackles down there!!! No play fake, no misdirection, nothing. Just straight up running the ball right at the strength of their defense. STUPID!!

We had 1st and goal 4 times. We scored ONCE. 10 runs up the gut and two passes, neither of which were play fakes or misdirections. UNACCEPTABLE! aTm's defense is FAST and aggressive. The only way to counter that is with misdirection and sleight of hand.

Further: when we weren't on the goal line, we needed our run game to work. In the 3rd quarter, IT DID!! We established a running game using some traps and false bubble screen looks, and went down the field and scored. What did Wilson do? The obvious thing: abandon the run and trust that Landry won't soil his britches like he has IN EVERY ROAD GAME HE'S EVER STARTED. http://www.pix8.net/pro/pic/982I6vVB/11553471.jpg

I'm not a Wilson apologist, but A&M was bringing up a safety to cover the quick outs and bubble passes on the outside (thus creating a soft spot in the center of the defense). So it makes sense to try to run between the tackles. Also, the pass rush on the outside made it dicey to try a slow-developing play.
