You nailed it. Murray is outstanding, in every freakin' way. I'm looking forward to seeing how great he can be in the NFL.

He'll be perfect in the NFL - if he gets some blocking and an offensive scheme

I never blame our players. There just kids for the most part who play their hearts out most of the time. And I've really enjoyed watching DM.

No one feels worse right now than our players.

He can only run the plays that the coaches give him. He did play hard.

DM7, Trey Franks played really hard out there today. DM7 is great at picking up the blitz

He can have some great runs, but has seemed to have lost a lot of his speed. This is nothing new though. He also likes to duck his head to early sometimes, instead of fighting for more yards. He does play with a lot of heart though and he saved us on a few third and longs tonight.

There is always one that can't just give the kid a compliment.

After that offensive series where we ran the ball, I thought "all right - yeah, put the team on DM's back and he'll get it done!" But NOOOOOOO. KW just HAD to put it all on Landry and his stellar road game presence.

THERE IS NO REASON THAT OU SHOULD HAVE LOST THAT GAME. Even with the mistakes and miscues, we could have won that game going away with a mere smidgen of imagination in the offensive playcalling.

Sorry, you can all kiss his *** but the fact us that he can't go for more than 5-6 yards at a time and there ARE guys who CAN on our bench (Roy Finch). I respect what Demarco has done but he is not helping us win. Before you jump on me, name the last play he has made over 10 yards.

**** you in the ****ing neck. Do your research before you pull stuff straight from that **** pool you call your brain. Jesus did you not know Demarco's longest run TONIGHT was 17 yards!? I'm no math wizard but I think 17 > 10. Did you know that!? No? Well maybe if you wouldn't be over your head in a bag of dicks you could see that.

Demarco has lost some steps but the guy has done everything asked of him and pours his heart and soul out. If you can't see that, **** you. I WON'T sit here and watch people attack a guy that has given his all for this program and broken his body for this program. If you disagree and think Demarco sucks, well you can suck my ***.

I'm not saying he sucks at all, and maybe I know nothing at football but when you duck your head and run into the pile of people for 3 yards I don't consider that a great run. He makes great plays, but he's not the same back he was in the past. Said this for a while now, he goes down way to easy sometimes IMO.

How do you guys miss his runs where he leaves a trail of embarrassed idiots behind him before he pulls some circus bull**** to get in the endzone?

Yea Finch did nothing. He also didn't break any tackles. DM played tough and had more than a few hard fought runs. Those goal line runs he tried his best but its hard when there are already 5 defenders on you or around you. The line got their *** beat every time we were at the goal line.

Well, hell - give him twice and he makes a 1st down!!!

Now...what was your problem with DM??

Yes, he did that against Texas....not this game. He did his little flip over the line for the td, had that tip toe down the side line, and a good kickoff return. He played pretty good, but 3.2 yard/carry or whatever that other post said isn't awesome. He's great in open space, but sometimes has trouble finding it. I'm not knocking DM cause he's been great here at OU.

I'm so down on DM now; and to think I admired all that heart and passion he showed and was clearly OUr best player tonight. I don't know where I was going with that...

A lot of the above comments are correct. He did play hard and executed well tonight. But no doubt he has lost a step or two and does tend to go down too easily. Seems like a great kid, but as far as having a outstanding pro career, I have my doubts.

Not every player is gonna be a great pro, great college player or not... Murray has been playing hard, and with all the injuries he is like 35 in college RB years, so cut em some slack. Our line didn't block for **** last night. 1st and Goal at the 1 ?

Ps. If your main concern is about stats go some where else. Football isn't a RPG.

DM will be a bust in the NFL. He's too slow and can't break tackles.

But yet during the game thread some guy keeps yelling, 'WHERE'S FINCH'. The epitome of how much effect whining about the game has.

I like Finch because he is exciting, but he's not a replacement for DM... a nice compliment though. I look forward to seeing him in the future. He reminds me of Darren Sproles.

DM had the best rushing and receiving stats on the team last night and he pretty much kept us in the game too with his KO returns.

AD is very injury prone. Anyone who takes him in the draft is crazy. Mark it down.

I think he could have a nice NFL career if he lands on the right team. He reminds me of Steve Sewell who went on to be a big asset to the Broncos with their 80's super bowl teams. Had several key plays on the famous Elway "drive" against the Browns. Steve was great catching the ball out of the backfield and pass blocking and he would surprise folks with a key run occasionally. Steve was no where near the physical specimen that Murray is. DM has what a lot of NFL teams are looking for even if it is just a 3rd down specialist.
