What is kind of ironic about Switz is that his greatest fault may have been that he was too kind of a person, often taking in people he shouldnt have and trusting people he shouldnt have

Switzer shouldn't even be on a list like this unless it's the 1000 most...

Switzer still hasn't admitted to any wrongdoing. He says the players are at fault.

Hey a$$hole, read Bootlegger's Boy

Yeah, Switzer has been very candid about his coaching experience. And the rapes and shootings WERE the players' fault.

I also don't think Pete Carroll belongs on that list. He may have been shady, but get real.

I also don't know why they called Nelson Piquet's accident lethal. Piquet is still very much alive.

whether or not he was a nice guy...switzer was the face of the program and gets the fall...whether that's fair or not is in the eye of the beholder. not surprised to see him on that list.

Bliss more than deserves to be on that list. You'll never ever find any of us defend that SOB after what he did to our program, our school, and the players. I hope he rots in hell.

No, you're actually absolutely right. Bliss really and truly should be on that list. The fact that Switzer is there and not Bliss is indicative of how full of BS the author of that article is. Anything Switzer did can't even begin to compare to Bliss.

Why do people care what somebody puts in a Bleacher Report? Did anybody bother to recognize its like a 15 year old looking boy who wrote it?

He doesn't even know who Barry Switzer is or half those people in his list...

If it hasn't been mentioned enough, Bleacher Report is just like Wikipedia - a source of info that ANYone can create that is not based on facts and is merely opinions - mostly rants - and should not be taken as a legit news source.

Oh, and Barry Switzer might have had a few questionable things happen during his coaching career, Lord knows I hated him as a Packer fan watching us lose to his Cowboys instead of going to Super Bowl XXX - but we forgive him because he's a Sooner and not just any Sooner. He's King Sooner.

Switzer does not need to be forgiven, he forgives you for being a packers fan

Yeah, Switzer has been very candid about his coaching experience. And the rapes and shootings WERE the players' fault.
The ironic thing is more than that happens every year at other schools and while it generates attention it doesn't create the firestorm that 6 players out of 100 did in the late 80's. That's the problem with people throw crap against the wall to see what sticks, they know not of what they are writing about.

I also don't know why they called Nelson Piquet's accident lethal. Piquet is still very much alive.
The only thing it killed was his FIA Superlicense and any career at F1...and it was was Piquet Jr. He seems to be adapting to Nascar trucks pretty well.

yeah, i was trying to figure out the lethal thing. maybe he could have died or killed someone?
I think that is what Lipschitz was referring to.

Six?

I am only aware of four. Two for the rape (Clay and someone else), Jerry Parks for the shooting, CT for selling out his team in exchange for drug money.

i think there was @ least 6. 3 were charged with rape, 2 found guilty & the RB from muskogee found innocent. (i think he went to SEOSU in durant)
Nope, looked in book & there was only the 5. on a different, Scot Hill also got in trouble.

Not that he would fall into the Top 25, but definitely above Switzer.

There were some other things that happened that didn't make the media, nothing as big as the ones mentioned here or in the press but still enough to be heaped on the pile that landed on Swank's desk when he did his firing of Switzer.

wow, why would you cheat to win the freakin Paralympics basketball championship? who gives a crap, is this like a coveted title for the spaniards? what a bunch of losers

This corruption defines the phrase "messed up."

Spain's basketball team took home the gold medal in the 2000 Paralympic Games in Sydney. Everything looked good until Carlos Ribagorda, an undercover journalist, decided to reveal some huge news.

Oh, did I mention Ribagorda was on the team?

That's right, Spain rigged a handicapped event. Ten of its 12 players, including Ribagorda, had no disability, and the coaching staff had encouraged players to act stupid,
